Intensifiers

categorically - in every manner, without reserve
deeply - strongly, with much feeling
enthusiastically - with great joy
freely - without hesitation
fully - completely, without any doubt
honestly - truly believing
positively - without any doubt
readily - without hesitation
sincerely - with best wishes
strongly - with conviction
totally - without any doubt
utterly - without any doubt


These are generally used with specific verbs to create emphatic expressions. These intensifier + verb combinations are strong collocations. Collocations are words that are always or often used together. Here is a list of the intensifier + verb combinations which make up the emphatic expressions:

categorically deny - In no way did I do something.
deeply regret - I am strongly sorry for my actions.
enthusiastically endorse - I happily, and with my whole heart believe in something.
freely appreciate - I certainly understand something.
fully recognize - I am aware of some situation.
honestly believe - I think something is true without any doubt.
positively encourage - I hope that you do something very strongly.
readily endorse - I believe in something someone else does without hesitation.
sincerely hope - I honestly want something for someone else.
strongly recommend - I really think you should do something.
totally reject - I refuse to believe or do in any case.
utterly refuse - I completely do not want to do or believe.


Here are example sentences for each of these emphatic expressions:


We categorically deny any involvement in the scandal.
I deeply regret the loss of your loved one.
I enthusiastically endorse the local cancer society.
We freely appreciate the current difficulties in this market.
I fully recognize your need to improve your career.
I honestly believe he is telling the truth.
We"d like to positively encourage you to buy this stock.
Our company readily endorses his run for office.
I sincerely hope you are able to find employment soon.
I"d like to strongly recommend you visit an employment specialist.
They totally reject any compromise in these negotiations.
I"m afraid I utterly refuse to believe anything he says.

ممنونم از حضورتون. مطلب خوبی را ثبت نمودید.
ولی هدف من از ارائهٔ تکلیف استخراج نمونه های قیود تشدید و تخفیف از متون مورد علاقه تون است.

اگر فرصت داشتید، یک متن را هم می توانید کار کنید.
اگه مقالات مکانیکی (در کل مقالات علمی با هر موضوعی) خواستید کار کنید به سایت زیر مراجعه نمایید. با جستجوی کلیدواژه های انگلیسی متنی که فایل پی دی اف داشته باشه دانلود نمایید.

The other two polymorphisms, valine 34 to methionine, and threonine 164 to isoleucine, occurred in only four subjects. The incidence of beta 2AR homozygous polymorphisms was no greater in asthmatic patients as compared with controls (Arg16-->Gly: 53% versus 59%, Gln27-->Glu: 24% versus 29%, respectively; P = NS).

 Some subjects were found to have both of these polymorphisms simultaneously, but there was no difference in incidence between the two groups, with 23% of asthmatics and 28% of normal subjects being homozygous for both polymorphisms. The apparently normal subjects with both polymorphisms did not have subclinical hyperreactive airways disease as determined by methacholine challenge testing. In the asthma group, one mutation (Arg16-->Gly) identified a subset of patients with a distinct clinical profile.

ولی سعی کنید جملاتی که انتخاب می کنید ترکیبات زیر را داشته باشند (هدف ما کالوکیشن های قید است):

بنابراین از جملات انتخابی تنها جمله زیر شرایط فوق را دارد:

In last couple of months, the Muslim minority in Myanmar (Rohingyas) has been attacked by Buddhist extremists; many Muslims have been killed, their houses, villages and mosques have been burned and this human catastrophe has forced thousands of people to escape for their lives. Unfortunately,policemen and military government officers took side in the violence and actively participated in attacking Muslims minority.

Of course, Rohingyas are the victims of discrimination and human rights abuses for decades. For years, the basic rights of this minority group have been denied by Myanmar military government. They are not considered Myanmar’s citizens by the government which has led to lack of access to basic human rights like education or freedom of movement. However, the new wave of violence against Muslims in Myanmar with killing of hundreds of innocent civilians and children, destroying the houses and mosques, and forceful displacement of people from their homelands has hurt the human feelings and caused deep concern for every person who believes in justice and human rights.


We, the undersigned, condemn the violence against any minority group and very specifically, the Muslim minority in Myanmar. We deeply concern about the situation and request UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to call for an immediate resolution meeting to condemn the human right violation and killings in Myanmar and take effective actions to restore the peace and protect the Myanmar’ Muslims minority group.These people deserve to live in peace and their minority rights must be respected by military government of Myanmar.
